Hi I’m Darren and have been in the carpet and flooring business since I left school in 1982. I served my time with a well-respected carpet & furniture retailer and I set up on my own in my early twenties as a carpet contractor. I earned Master Fitter status with the National Institute Of Carpet Fitters over twenty years ago. Over the years more variety of floor coverings have been introduced such as Karndean, laminate and seagrass , and many more therefore I have made sure my skills are up to date and attend courses on all the floor coverings I install ,I offer a floors to your door service where you can choose in the comfort and natural light of your home or just installation only.

During my time in the carpet fitting industry a variety of flooring covers have been introduced such as Karndean, laminate and as well as many more, therefore I have made sure that my flooring skills are completely up to date by attending courses on all the flooring covers that I install. I offer my customers a ‘Floors to your Doors’ service in Chester le Street, Durham, Washington and Sunderland which means that the customer can choose their carpet and flooring from the comfort and natural light of their own home, I also offer just a floor installation service if you have bought floors elsewhere

I provide a sample service brought to you whatever your budget. If you’re a busy professional, elderly or just haven’t got the time to trail around the shops, I can bring it to you with no pressure sales what so ever! There will be no hidden delivery or cutting charges just an itemised estimate. After hours isn’t a problem. I can offer good advice if you want it as I have installed many floor coverings over the years. All I need is to take some details, for example , carpet or flooring,a guideline in colour and a rough budget.

The most important result in any installation is the right prep work whether it be for carpets or designer flooring such as karndean or amtico from a damp test in a concrete floor an over board with a good quality and thickness plywood or the right type of screeding. All these are key factors in the final results of your floor that you will enjoy in years to come.
